Grow Your Tribe No. 8 - Sharing Stories

Stories are the key to learning about humanity and the world around you.

This week we are highlighting accounts and platforms full of stories that we adore.

Take a look to see if they are people you want in your feed.

Humans of Around the World

“Never judge a book by its cover”, is a saying we are often told. Brandon Stanton takes this saying into action as he shares pictures, along with stories, of thousands of people across the globe.

The @humansofny Instagram account started as a photography project by Brandon. It has now grown into multiple social media platforms, obtaining over 20 million followers.

Whether the story embodies the person’s life or is just explaining a scenario that happened to them that day, they are enticing and exciting.

Give the Instagram page a read here, we bet you won’t be able to stop scrolling.

Morgan is a writer, artist, and musician. We are inspired by her work that embodies people and their unique stories.

The Ing

The Ing is an online community that is deeply dedicated to creating a safe place for people of all races, sexualities, and gender identities who have been or are being affected by emotional, physical, psychological, or sexual abuse.

We learned about this project through our kind-hearted friend and co-founder of
The Ing, Claude Silver.

Regardless if you are personally affected by this issue, the site is filled with stories that we believe everyone should hear.

We hope you found at least one new account worth following from this email.
